Matías Toril gained his M.S. in Telecommunication Engineering and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Málaga, Spain, in 1995 and 2007, respectively. Since 1997, he has been a lecturer with the Communications Engineering Department of the same university, where he is currently a Full Professor. His research interests include mobile network planning and optimization, radio resource management and data analytics.
