I was born in Málaga, Spain, in April 1970. He received the Ingeniero de Telecomu- nicación and Doctor Ingeniero degrees from the Universidad de Málaga, Málaga, Spain, in 1993 and 1998, respectively. In 1994, I joined the Departamento de Ingeniería de Comunicaciones, Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Telecomunicación, Universidad de Málaga, where I became an Associate Professor in 2001.
My research interests include electromagnetic material characterization, additive manufacturing of electromagnetic devices, measurement techniques, RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave circuits and antennas design for communication and automotive applications.
I was the recipient of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science Scholarship, from 1994 to 1995. Since 2017, I has been a Visiting Researcher with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London, London, U.K.
I was the chair of Spain XXXV and XXXVII Symposium of URSI in 2020 and 2027 respectively. In 2016 I was co-chair of The fith International Conference on Antennas and Electromagnetic Systems as I am in 2023.
From 2020 to 2023, I was the Chair of Spain joint Chapter of IEEE Antennas and Propagation and Microwave Theory and Technologies Societies Currently he is and Counselor of the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Malaga.
Ha sido presidente del comité organizador las ediciones XXXV y XXXVII del Simposio Nacional de la Unión Científica Internacional de Radio. En 2016 fue co-chair y lo es en 2023 de "International Conference on Antennas and Electromagnetic Systems"
